Okay, so. Caster's character concept, from an OOC standpoint, can best be described as a clusterfuck. She is the legendary fox demon, Tamamo-no-Mae. She is also a facet of the sun goddess Amaterasu. Furthermore, as a Heroic Spirit, she was connected to a database with records of the lives of heroes throughout the ages. Shit is ridiculously weird.

So, since she would have a lot of extra information on people, this can get fucked up by the augment, hence: permissions post!

Would Caster know about your character through legends? (This only applies to legends that exist in the real world, no matter how legendary they are in their own world!)

Would Caster know about your character through legends? I... don't know? She's a pooka, but most legends of those are trickster spirits in olden day Europe, not small human children that have said trickster spirits hitching a ride in their soul.

Looking them up, yeah, I think she'd vaguely know of pooka, but not actually be able to tell that's what's going on. (Not that weird spirits hitching a ride in people's souls is actually a foreign concept to her, laughs.)

Yeah, Katie is a special case-- in her world the magic's literally so gone from the world that the fae struck a pact with humankind centuries ago to protect themselves by merging with various human souls. If Caster sees her in her pure fae form that'd probably be kind of telling, so! I guess we'll see if that goes anywhere |D

Yes! Caster is technically a youkai fox herself (sort of. it's complicated) and they have a lot of similar legends, so I think Caster would definitely recognize her in a pure fae form.

On the other hand, if you'd like, the reverse can hold true if you'd like her to be able to recognize the fox.

She's very young and isn't up on the more Asian legends BUT lmao she would probably be hopeful that Caster is maybe another pooka because FOX EARS AND TAIL-- that is amazing. It wouldn't take her long to work out she's wrong but hey. |D

I DID SEE that Caster is another version of Amaterasu, is that right? Becuase Katie...still wouldn't recognise her, lmao, but she's spent quality time with wolf!Ammy and can see her for what she is right off the bat, so maybe they'd feel similar? UNSURE.

She is a single facet incarnated as a human, yes! She herself is not Amaterasu, but Amaterasu is her source, and she has all her memories and such from being Amaterasu, so yeah, they'd probably feel similar. Though, of course, Caster is not a full goddess at all so would probably ping as less.

Is your character magical in nature or have magic that she could sense? Ah-ha... This is a little more tricky for Vash. His powers are unexplained, but created in a way by science and partly by nature in an evolution of sorts. Basically he has in him the power to destroy or create just about anything. I let each man decide if that falls under something their character can sense as while it was started as science (kind of) it's not science anymore (kind of).

Is your character in some way holy or divine in nature? Weeell, Pinkie IS the Element of Laughter, but...
If so, can Caster sense this? And how? Considering that none of the other Mane Six are here, and they only use their powers together when there's a huge threat, it's probably dormant and may or may not even be detectable.

Is your character magical in nature or have magic that she could sense? Yeah, a little bit. All earth ponies have some degree of latent magical ability that allows them to tend the earth (her family in particular specializes in rock farming). Pinkie, though... Well who knows HOW she does it, but Pinkie pretty much breaks Equestrian physics all the tame ala Bugs Bunny, AND she has a Pinkie Sense that allows her to predict "vague, immediate events." It's explained in-universe as "Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie" than any form of actual magic, though.

Is your character magical in nature or have magic that she could sense? Yes, if you'd like: Kotoha is a kotodama user, meaning she has word-based magic. She can conjure up things just by describing what they are. Normal people can see this as she does it, by her eyes glowing a faint green and crackles of electricity appearing at her lips. You're free to have Caster know that Kotoha's capable of magic before she ever sees it for herself. o7

She's implied to be the descendant of priestesses on this mountain whose sacred duty it was to guard this mountain/act as seals against this 'black water' bullshit. And to watch people commit suicide... fun things. She has their same powers and spirits are drawn to her, and spirits in anon comment on her having the potential to be a powerful priestess/sacrifice sooo...
If so, can Caster sense this? And how? THUMBS UP. I'm not sure how, but it might be something Caster can just pick up on, especially if she uses her 'shadow reading' abilities but i'm also down with Caster just being able to pick up on it right away.
